Returned to him from Carmen (via courier) on Route 29 on 6/23/14 @ level 100. Adder was originally Toothless's dragon, back during Hiccup's first trip to Johto. It took him a while to get her to come out of her shell, after Toothless hadn't been all that attentive, but soon they became the best of friends. She has begun to grow used to trainers she loves coming and going, and so is a little hesitant to get close to people again. Nevertheless, she finds herself feeling fond of Carmen, who Hiccup had left her to, and was happy to find that Hiccup had returned. Though she thinks of herself as a team protector and would do almost anything for them, Adder has a hard time making herself fit in with Hiccup's other pokemon. Because of her uncertainty, she sometimes comes off as cold. Originally received when Toothless left Johto on 3/9/12 @ level 22.

Met in Cianwood City on 7/10/14 @ level 15. Alberta may not be exactly like her namesake, but her cranky bugturtle grumblings certainly warmed Hiccup to her. She may not understand where his affection comes from, but she tolerates it well enough, especially since he lets her do pretty much whatever she wants. Prefers solitude, but secretly likes being treated like a lapdog.

Met when an egg from the Breeding Centre hatched on 7/29/14 @ level 1. Bolt and Eve get along like two peas in a pod, thanks to their mutual fascination with lightning. Bolt was born during a thunderstorm, and thanks to her typing giving her nothing to fear, she instantly fell in love with the stormy sky. She also enjoys splashing in puddles and dancing around in her free time. The only thing that seems to make Bolt sour with hate is birds, leading to a few arguments between her and Eve, given the latter's friendship with Zack and Julee.

Returned to him from Carmen in Cherrygrove City on 6/25/14 @ level 60. As soon as she hatched, Brynhildr devoted herself to Val the Cubone, taking up position as her knight in shining armor. She carries herself with confidence, though she also has a tendency towards aggression that Hiccup would like to fix, and so she fits in with the larger members of Hiccup's team. Oftentimes she can be found with Val's Bone Club and, less disconcertingly, a pink bow set by her head spines. Brynhildr was named after the figure in Norse mythology. Originally met when an egg from Karkat and Vanitas hatched on 2/17/13 @ level 1.

Met in the Safari Zone on 7/20/14 @ level 15. She's too shy to ever seek out a partner for battles, even if she adores the idea of double battles. When it's suggested that she team up with another, however, Clawshot usually gets so flustered over it that she ends up knocking out her partner instead of their opponents. She's very deep in denial over many things, from her favorite food to her crush on fellow bird, Weatherwing. Oftentimes she wishes she had been born as something more feminine.

Returned to him from the Foster Home in Cherrygrove City on 6/26/14 @ level 1. Despite being of a species without a gender, Eve identifies as female. Hiccup had originally wanted to name the Rotom 'Atom', after some recently acquired learnin', but the pokemon misunderstood this as 'Adam' and revolted, choosing to name 'her'self instead. She has a lot of fun possessing his 'gear, and likes to meet new people since she finds them fascinatingly silly. After all her time not talking in the Foster Home, Eve was so overjoyed to be inside of a 'gear again that she accidentally exploded two of them. Originally met when an egg from the Breeding Centre hatched on 9/23/12 @ level 1.

Returned to him from Carmen in Cherrygrove City on 6/25/14 @ level 64. Falkor was the one to start the 'name pokemon after The Neverending Story characters' phase thanks to her shiny pink (now green) scales matching that of Michael EnDewott's description of the book's Falkor, and now she's the only one that remains. Like the fictional dragon, Falkor has boundless energy and oodles of optimism stored up in her once-noodle-like body, which she fully intends to share with all those she comes across. She honestly believes she is particularly lucky, and now that she is a Dragonite, she misses her pink scales, but is ecstatic to go out flying with Hiccup. Originally met when Christmas 2012's egg hatched on 1/15/13 @ level 1.

Met when an egg from the Breeding Centre hatched on 7/29/14 @ level 1. Hatched during a storm, Flamesetter was almost unnerved when hurricane season was over and sunny weather returned. He likes loud noises, and so finds it difficult to sleep without some kind of sound around him, and prefers staying inside where weather -- good or bad -- can't reach him. Even when in battle, Flamesetter is almost reluctant to spark up the fire on his back. He's a very quiet Cyndaquil, and the way he focuses more on the view from a windowsill than those around him sometimes makes it difficult for him to make friends.

Returned to him from Carmen (via courier) on Route 29 on 6/23/14 @ level 100. While Hookfang is named after Snotlout's dragon, he ended up a bit like his trainer's cousin himself. He has a lot of bravado but very little follow-through, and has a tendency to try and eat through Hiccup's prosthetic foot. Hiccup's had to repair it more than once because Hookfang. He's kind of a troublemaker, but seems to look up to/be intimidated by Vicky, Carmen's Arcanine, and so has taken it upon himself to try and be that hound's boyfriend ASAP since evolving. Because he now has swag, obviously. And the best pick-up lines. Originally met on Route 35 on 5/25/12 @ level 13.

Met in Blackthorn City on 9/29/14 @ level 5. He was acquired from Atsuro during the September swarms. Has a rivalry with Jorgen.

Met in Blackthorn City on 9/30/14 @ level 5. Doesn't like Carmen's obsession with dinosaurs, therefor doesn't like Hiccup's obsession with staying by Carmen's side. Has a rivalry with Inger.

Returned to him from Carmen in Cherrygrove City on 6/25/14 @ level 60. Leap Year, called Leap for short, hatched on Hiccup's and Carmen's joint birthday along with Carmen's own Eevee, Berk Lee. Leap never really had any desire to be a strong battler, despite his larger movepool and the fact that Hiccup seemed to have plans for his future. Now that Hiccup understands that Leap wants to remain an Eevee and has assured him that it doesn't make him any less proud, their relationship is considerably less strained. He gets along fairly well with Heather the Espeon, and is considered to be an honorary member of the Eevee Squad. Originally met when an egg from Riku hatched on 3/1/13 @ level 1.

Met in Blackthorn City on 9/9/14 @ level 5. While on her way back from a delivery, Falkor went flying through Violet City to see the sights and got a bit sidetracked by the daily swarm instead. The next day, she gave her new friend to her old friend so they could all be friends together and make the world go 'round. Nosy likes to try to climb her way into Hiccup's giant nose like it's an unexplored cavern of treasures. HEIGHT MUST BE EDITED LATER BECAUSE SHE IS SMALL AS HECKLES

Acquired from the Foster Home in Cherrygrove City on 6/26/14 @ level 23. The only female Eevee out of the six members of the squad, Heather has a special place in the hearts of all. Even Snotlout had to admit that he'd taken a liking to the tiny fox, which is why after a short while he started calling her Heather -- after a friend from home -- instead of her original name, Slacker. Even with Hiccup as her trainer, she is only very rarely referred to by her full title, and almost never when they're in public. Heather not only has the advantage of being okay at battling, but she can act as moral support for her brothers. The bond Snotlout managed to form with her is what caused her to accept her destiny as a happiness evolution, so while she's not entirely against Hiccup being her new trainer, she does miss "Dad". She hatched from an egg from the Breeding Centre in Cerulean City on 3/26/14 @ level 1.

Met in Blackthorn City on 9/12/14 @ level 5. He was a trade to Aradia in exchange for a Carbink. A bit on the negative side, but seems to like his ridiculous name for some reason.

Met when an egg from the Breeding Centre hatched on 7/29/14 @ level 1. Skullcrusher was another egg hatched the day before July 2014's hurricane, and he took the opportunity of everyone else panicking and preparing to make himself a nest of stolen trinkets. He adores hunting down shiny objects and devising ways to make them his, though when confronted he usually gives it back up without a problem. He has never been able to find the right opportunity to steal something from Carmen. Named after Stoick's second dragon, Hiccup has a hard time not going easy on him, though he's also set on making Skullcrusher a proud warrior and tracker.

Acquired from the Foster Home in Cherrygrove City on 6/26/14 @ level 19. Slug was one of two first members in Snotlout's Eevee-only team, created just for the purposes of a bet he lost shortly before going home. He believes himself to be extremely deep, staring off into the distance for an hour before wistfully announcing a line that could have come straight out of shitty poetry. He has a "spoiled king" attitude, appearing to pity every other Eevee or evolution he comes across, and is easily offended. Unfortunately for the other members of the squad, Slug's attitude only got worse when he was the first that Snotlout evolved. He hatched from an egg from the Breeding Centre in Viridian City on 1/4/14 @ level 1.

Acquired from the Foster Home in Cherrygrove City on 6/26/14 @ level 20. Snail was one of two first members in Snotlout's Eevee-only team, created just for the purposes of a bet he lost shortly before returning home. Snail is extremely hard on himself, overthinking battles to the point where he loses -- and then, in his frustration, overthinks the next battle. And the next. And the next. He was very miffed by Snotlout frequently calling every Eevee Slug until it's proven that there were not, in fact, Slug -- especially when this behavior continued after multiple members of the squad had evolved. Because Hiccup never manages to get them confused, Snail is far fonder of his new trainer than the old. His evolution (and type advantage to Slug) came as a relief. He hatched from an egg from the Breeding Centre in Viridian City on 1/4/14 @ level 1.

Acquired from the Foster Home in Cherrygrove City on 6/26/14 @ level 21. Sneeze was part of the second round of acquisitions for Snotlout's bet against Sho. He's a natural-born parent, immediately taking up the position of caring for his fellow baby pokemon -- and now that he's older, he continues on tending for eggs and newborns. Oddly for his name, Sneeze is the one on Hiccup's team with the healthiest immune system, and makes visits to the local Pokemon Centers to cheer up any sick pokemon who may need it. He's a bit unwilling to participate in battles, but when he's made to he tries to fight in a way that dispatches the enemy without necessarily hurting them, showing the most strategy of any member of the squad. Quick to recover, he doesn't mind losing, and is pleased to see that his new trainer doesn't throw tantrums at it, either. He hatched from an egg from the Breeding Centre in Pewter City on 2/26/14 @ level 1.

Acquired from the Foster Home in Cherrygrove City on 6/26/14 @ level 22. Snore was one of two last additions to the Eevee squad, and Snotlout's patience for Eevees was already waning by the time he hatched. Gunning to prove that he's not useless, Snore has a thirst for battle that none of the other Eevees seemed to have. His brutish actions and size did little to impress Snotlout and have the side effect of pushing away the other members of the team. Unfortunately, there was little love between trainer and pokemon back on Snotlout's team and Snore seems determined to continue this tradition with Hiccup. While Snore was supposed to evolve from happiness, Snotlout had to settle with Snore being destined to become a Leafeon. He was extremely peeved to be the last to evolve, holding a grudge against his siblings even if they had nothing to do with it. Hiccup finds him off-putting, but seems determined to connect. He hatched from an egg from the Breeding Centre in Cerulean City on 3/26/14 @ level 1.

Acquired from the Foster Home in Cherrygrove City on 6/26/14 @ level 19. Snotlout had not been expecting anything quite like Spike, when his new squad member hatched. Even with the first two Eevee Squad members not being the warriors he'd been hoping for, Spike's prissy attitude was so far off that Snotlout had considered passing him off. Seeing most Eevees as undesirable, he figured he would never find anyone that would take the fashionista that would become his Jolteon. Hiccup, too, finds the Jolteon a bit odd and not entirely what he'd hope for, but is willing to accept the weirdo for as long as he doesn't drag his clothes into the nearest trash bin. Spike often gives commentary on the people and pokemon around him, chittering complaints all the while, and is especially critical in the mornings. He hatched from an egg from the Breeding Centre in Pewter City on 2/26/14 @ level 1.

Met through a Fateful Encounter in New Berk Town on 6/22/14 @ level 5. Though he knew next to nothing about Emolga and was a bit disappointed to not see any of his former party members, Hiccup was quick to bond with Stormcutter. The floppy-eared critter was surprised to find out, late at night when he thought Hiccup would be asleep, that his trainer had wings just like his, and stayed up until morning to listen to Hiccup talk about Berk. Since then, Stormcutter has taken it upon himself to be a fatherly influence and keep Hiccup on the right track. Even with those ears of his flopping into his vision, he's incredibly attentive, perhaps because those same ears caused some teasing back at the lab and he's familiar with the idea of someone not looking out for another in need. He was named for the species of Valka's dragon, Cloudjumper.

Returned to him from Carmen in Cherrygrove City on 6/25/14 @ level 1. Hiccup hadn't originally thought to pick up a Cubone, but he checked their entry by chance and couldn't not take one of the eggs. Since the one he hatched turned out to be female, he made the decision to name her after his own mother, Valka, though he shortened it to Val. From the moment she hatched, Val was Hiccup's little girl, and for months it was difficult to see him without her in his arms. Because of this treatment, Val grew up to be quite the spoiled brat, and so the only one that truly gets along with her is Brynhildr, her bodyguard. She sees other baby pokemon as threats to her relationship with her "Daddy", and so will wail her head off in their presence until her demands for ice cream and snuggles are met. Met in the Safari Zone on 7/20/14 @ level 19. It takes a lot to get this feathered flyer down. Ever the optimist, Weatherwing volunteers to be Clawshot's partner in battle at almost every opportunity despite it always ending with him being taken to the Center. He's absolutely oblivious to the emotions of others, which can get him in a number of awkward situations, but he tries to make up for any insensitivities with eager celebrations. Weatherwing may not have a clue about Clawshot's crush, but he admitted to Hookfang and Falkor that being in a relationship with her would sure be pretty rad!!!
