Turns out that when you spend all your time flying around the world having your pokemon destroy inn furniture, you kind of run out of money.

[And he's way too stubborn to accept Carmen paying for everything all the time, even with her unexplained reserves of cash. So here he goes...!]

To fix that, I'm taking commissions for leather goods! I've been doing this for...just about forever, so I can make just about anything put of whatever this world's version of leather is, really -- saddles, bags, saddles with bags, coats, coats with bags, bags with hidden bags, you get the idea. I can also work with metal, but I'd rather not make any weapons. I'm thinking more along the lines of prosthetic limbs (not that most of you have need for that) or jewelry.

Depending on what it is, we can talk out a price that works. Call in today and receive a free egg or bunny rock thing with your order!

Or just call in if you want the pokemon and something crafted, I guess. I'll have a list of egg moves for the ones I have on hand, but if that's all you want then I'll need to ask you to pay for them. The daily swarm pokemon just need a good home. Haven't seen what these new guys can do in battle yet, but if you're in a pinch, they make an excellent dragon-repelling disco ball*!

*May or may not actually repel dragons. The scientists are still hard at work on that one.

Someone I know has just named them Carbun, if you're willing to tolerate puns for the sake of something shorter to say. You don't have to worry about paying extra for them. The eggs and the offers to make things I'm responsible for, but these poor things just kind of showed up here today. It's been an interesting week so far, huh?

Puns aren't all that bad - and I can't complain, then if it's for free. And you're handy with tools? You're going to make someone happy one day.

That's an accidental and unwanted situation, I assure you. My sweet Leviathan decided long ago that she liked Squall's Seifer, she told the rest of my team all about the joys of snuggling together with a loved one, and before I knew it there were eggs everywhere. Add to that Gogo the Ditto's efforts, even when he was part of another team...

Yeah, but that's a part of the fun. Who knows what kind of moves they can use, or if they know any unique moves their species can use.

I just wonder what the deal is. A new ability? A new type? I don't know about you, but I'm definitely gonna try to get to the bottom of this.

To be fair, there are also Pokemon out there that have very unique abilities that are also their only abilities --- see, for example, Shedinja and its Wonder Guard. It's entirely possible that this new discovery could be one of those rare examples, though it's still too early to say for sure.

Well, Ice is rather fragile to begin with --- I don't have all that much experience with the type, but the one I do have doesn't seem to have any particular resistance to the Dragon type, though it could be that it's simply powering itself through hate.

It's called Swablu. It's a blue bird with wings like clouds, and I get the feeling you'd get along well with one -- especially after it evolves.

Altaria are part dragon, which is how I came to find them. I thought of you when I remembered that they're known as the humming pokemon.

Right now our best bet is a new ability, I think. Something like Levitate? I can't believe there's something that can make dragon attacks useless, though...

Oh right, ice only dealt more damage to dragons. It's been a while since I've gone into type matches.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. Carmen said that the Goomy information came when Clair held her prom again. I haven't heard of any events being planned, but it makes you wonder if we're going to get a visit from those foreigners again soon.

Nah. I get along pretty well with the folks and pokemon up here, and I found two Swablu looking for adventure. No trouble at all.

Could be like Levitate, Water Absorb, Sap Sipper... Whatever it is, you gotta wonder why. It's not like rocks are weak to dragons in the first place.

But I guess it makes them unique. I just wonder what else they can do.
