Turns out that when you spend all your time flying around the world having your pokemon destroy inn furniture, you kind of run out of money.

[And he's way too stubborn to accept Carmen paying for everything all the time, even with her unexplained reserves of cash. So here he goes...!]

To fix that, I'm taking commissions for leather goods! I've been doing this for...just about forever, so I can make just about anything put of whatever this world's version of leather is, really -- saddles, bags, saddles with bags, coats, coats with bags, bags with hidden bags, you get the idea. I can also work with metal, but I'd rather not make any weapons. I'm thinking more along the lines of prosthetic limbs (not that most of you have need for that) or jewelry.

Depending on what it is, we can talk out a price that works. Call in today and receive a free egg or bunny rock thing with your order!

Or just call in if you want the pokemon and something crafted, I guess. I'll have a list of egg moves for the ones I have on hand, but if that's all you want then I'll need to ask you to pay for them. The daily swarm pokemon just need a good home. Haven't seen what these new guys can do in battle yet, but if you're in a pinch, they make an excellent dragon-repelling disco ball*!

*May or may not actually repel dragons. The scientists are still hard at work on that one.

I've no idea what's a disco ball and why it would have any particular effect on dragons, but they can also distract would-be pickpockets and keep doors open. You might want to add that to your sales' pitch.

I think the crystals might make them more attractive to pickpockets, too.

It was not quite my intention at first. I merely let it out of its pokéball near an open door, and it chose not to move. For three hours and a half.

Exactly, and luckily they are not easily removed. Some wild Zigzagoon proved that by trying... for three hours and a half.

[As a matter of fact, 'dead' was slowly becoming the most probable option.]

...how much would you charge for a saddle that can fit a salamence? and do you do repairs? i uh
i have a body harness from home and one of the straps is getting worn out by the shoulders since my pokemon used to haul me around by it when they were first learning how to use fly.

That depends on how elaborate you want it. I've made a saddle for my own Salamence, so it shouldn't be too hard even if you wanted to add any fancy etchings, compartments, or handles. I'll also need both your heights and weights, if possible.

Repairing a body harness shouldn't be any trouble either. Do you want me to match the materials as much as possible, or spruce it up with buckles or spaulders and the like?

I haven't run into any of these that are so, er, calm so far. Though the most energetic I've seen is the one that was spinning like a top...

[None of these are sounding like good qualities to him. Especially the possible dragon repellent, but this is Hiccup, so that was obvious.]

handles might be good if im carrying someone else with me. as far as weight, i think shes about two twenty? maybe two thirty and around five feet. as for me, im about six five now and the last time i checked i was at one eighty... five? im not sure anymore.

and just matching is fine. its really finicky on how its designed since we used it back home to fight. its... well, hold on ill show you what it looks like. _{[About thirty secconds later, a picture of a jumbled mess of straps comes through. He'd put it on if it wasn't such a hassle right now.]}

I'll need to look at it in person to get a more solid idea, but that doesn't look like it should be too hard to repair as long as what I think I'm seeing is what I'm actually seeing.

How does P16000 for the both of these sound?

i used to be one of the tallest back home so i know how that is.

im in cianwood right now but once i tackle the gym i can try and make my way over to you for a day trip or something. and that sounds fine with me. i rarely splurge on myself

Are you having much luck finding good homes for both eggs and bunny rocks? Now that they've stopped falling from the skies, I imagine those new species have risen in value, but I've lost track of the popularity of Eevees and Growlithes long ago.

Cianwood is a long ways off from where I am right now. Unless you'd really like to make the trip to Blackthorn, I could send a pokemon over to pick it up. Without a passenger, the trip there and back shouldn't take too long, no matter which of mine does it.

Though I recommend that anyone come to Blackthorn anyway. It's an amazing city.

Er... Not yet, honestly. I'm hoping it's just because it still hasn't been very long, and not because everyone already has them...

Although a lot of people have doubles of the same pokemon, and the number of evolutions for an Eevee should help. I suppose if all else fails, I can donate the rest of the eggs to the Breeding Centre.

You'd think all those evolutions would help, yet I've not heard of many people aiming to raise them all. Not counting that household with nearly thirty members of the species, of course.

Still, with those egg moves they should all be snatched up before long.

Honestly, I'm not sure if "repelling" is the right word here, unless you're going by the fact that dragons tend to back away in confusion after doing a whole load of nothing to them.

ive been to blackthorn before during a friends birthday! if you havent, try the hotsprings. theyre really, really nice.

I've...inherited a lot of them. [He has literally no idea what his cousin was thinking, with all those eeveelutions ~~or that Snotlout had the team of them as a bet~~ but he's grown accustomed to most of them now.] They all have their pros and cons, so there's a good appeal there.

[Yagyuu was a crazy cat lady about it, though. Everyone can agree.]

I'm kind of worried about the Scraggy ones... They had the most eggs, but there weren't any egg moves. And I love Bryn, but casual trainers might not take to a lizard when there are cats and dogs around instead.

I'll send down my Dragonite, then. She's green and sparkly so you can't miss her, and should be there in just a couple days. Good luck on your badges! If your pokemon have gotten the hang of fly now that they've worn our your harness, then I think you're pretty set.

It's still a bit hot out for hotsprings, isn't it? [Though it had definitely cooled off lately, thank the gods.] I have been here when it was colder, though. It's even better then.

The lack of eggs moves might discourage certain trainers, but Scraggies are also much less common than the others, as far as I know. Their rarity could generate some interest.

And there's one of our hard-working scientists now, folks.

I mostly just wanted to find a way to intrigue customers, if an unidentified pokemon wasn't already enough for them. My Adder definitely wasn't too please with them. Falkor just got excited after her confusion.
